Scandal

Missing Heads
Lunch today -> McDonalds and Booster Juice.
I got 3 cheeseburgers and a Strawberry Storm Booster Juice for lunch.

The Washington Post posted the whole (and half correct) article with pictures that include their heads. 16 of the girls were in Washington to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the gift of cherry trees from Japan to Washington DC, but the article doesn't even talk about that?

Sick Day #2
Took another sick day today. Had a shower and went outside for the first time in 3 days.

I wanted to buy a whole BBQ chicken from Metro, as they are on sale every Tuesday; but they don't go on sale until 3pm. Totally sucked as I was there at 1. So I left and got a sub.

Sick Day
Took a sick day today. I slept til noon and then on and off the rest of the day. I think I still have a fever and my neck, back, and thighs ache. At the time I'm writing this, I'm 50-50 on going to work on Tuesday.

I watched "The Rock" on TV. I noticed that during the scene where Sean Connery escapes from the hotel while Nicolas Cage/FBI guys chase after him; the background music is the same as "Pirates of the Caribbean".

I got a new t-shirt from Comic Book Shoppe last week. It's an x-ray of Superman. The bones glow-in-the-dark too.

Weekend Report: Acchan Grad Announcement
I was sick all weekend. I had a fever and something with my stomach. My poo-gas was killer! :) It was probably a good thing that I didn't tough it out and go gaming at Anthony's on Saturday night.
Food this weekend ->
All "Sterling Silver" Steaks are on sale at Sobey's this week. I got a couple of rib-eye steaks on Friday. I was only able to eat 1 steak on Friday night. Too sick to eat the other.

Early Friday morning, I watched the 3.5hr live stream of the 1st day of the AKB48 Saitama Super Arena Concert on Google+. It was a pretty good concert with alot of shuffle units.

Forgot My Phone
I forgot my iPhone with all my music at home today. I needed to drown out "Mr.Loud". Lucky for me I found a bunch of mp3s on my computer. I thought I lost these folders the last time I switched computers.
I found an old 2006 Morning Musume Rainbow 7 concert rip. I also found some folders with Julie's mp3s from when she worked at CMC. I listened to some of her anime songs too (ie Sailor Moon, Ranma, Gundam).

Today was the last day of the Crab Legs sale at Loblaws. It was $9 off. I got a bag for dinner.

I think the Walmart brand crab legs is better. I think you get more with better quality legs for the price.
Useless Gaming News:
Will and I are playing the "Draw Something" app for iPhone and Android. It's like Pictionary. One person picks 1 of 3 words, draws it, and the drawing is sent to the other player. That player watches as the drawing is made and needs to guess the word to win coins. Then Vice Versa.
It's abit difficult to draw details with my finger. Maybe I will find a iPhone pen to use.

BTW Will: A "Padlock" uses a dial for a lock, not a key :)

Starscream...?
Dinner today -> Beef and Chinese Greens on Rice.
I wanted to make this dish yesterday, but Sobey's didn't pack any steaks on the shelf.

I'm hooked on grapes these past few weeks. They've been on sale really cheap everywhere for awhile now, so I got 3 more bags today. I'm currently preferring the black grapes over the red or green ones.

New Baby Boy!
Congratulations Jes and Marc!!!
Their new baby boy was born today!
Lunch today -> Fries.
I got a large fries from Glen's at Canadian Tire. I don't like it when the girl works at the chip wagon. She doesn't fill the bag of fries all the way to the top.
FYI: I think they raised the prices too. $5.25 for Large Fries and $4.50 for a Sausage.

I cooked a box of cheese and spinach cannelloni from M&M Meats. It's alright. There was only 6 cannelloni's in the package. I thought there was more. I made some chinese greens and garlic cheese bagels to go with it.

I got eliminated to the Consolation Round by Will (aka Snowball) in both pools in the last week of regular season. He was assisted by Anthony (aka kids -fongdoesn'tpay) in the Robot pool. Well played guys, well played... but next year, it will be all mine! Mmwhahahaha

FYI: 5 of the people who made the Championship bracket have never won the cup. Only K-Lowe has won it before. We could have a new name on the cup this year.
Useless Gaming News:
Broke out my Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) on the weekend, and hooked it up to my projector. I was hoping it still worked and it did.

It took some wiggling and blowing in the cartridges, but I was able I played a bunch of my old games like Super Mario Brothers, Double Dragon 2, Double Dragon 3, Ninja Gaiden, and Thundercade.

I've lost my touch with the Double Dragon games. I used to be able to pull off the Cyclone Kick or the Hyper Knee anytime I wanted and kick a$$ at them. Now I can't even get past the 1st level!
I went to the Stitsville Flea Market on Sunday and picked up some NES games for $5 each. I got Strider, Jackal, Blaster Master, and Legendary Wings. I might get some more this weekend.

Weekend Report: Happy BDay Grandpa!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!!!
We went out for my grandpa's birthday dinner at "Fortune Express" in Kanata.
1st out was the soup. It was butternut squash with seafood. It was really buttery and the crab balls were made with real crab! It was really good, until Ben said it tasted just like Kraft Dinner cheese sauce. Then every spoon-full tasted just like KD. I still liked it and drank 2 bowls.
Chicken was next. It was served cold on purpose.

Something new was next: Slice Pork Neck with Mixed Greens. It was really tasty... for neck.
The black pepper steak was served differently than other restaurants. I found the steak overcooked and the peppercorns were huge and over powering.

Fried pork chops slathered in Thousand Island style mayonnaise. It's sounds nasty but tastes really really good.

The oyster omelette was full of ginger! Totally disgusting.
The red bean soup was not sweet at all.

Other food this weekend ->
I cooked the maple chipotle short ribs I got from Costco. It's no where near as good as my Korean Short Ribs, but the quality of the meat is really good. Not very fatty at all. I hope they sell the short ribs without any pre-marinade.
If these were cut into single rib sections, they would be really good for yakiniku.

The season finale of "The Walking Dead" Season 2 was Sunday night. It was really good. People died, lots of walkers died, and a new character with a katana (hint: a comic character) appears right at the end. Season 3 will be in the Prison. I already can't wait :)
Useless Gaming Info:
Ben and I met up with Gordon, Brain, Paul A, and Paul M for some board gaming. We played For Sale, Robo Rally, and A Game of Thrones.
For Sale is a quick auction game. Gordon and Brian tied for victory.
Robo Rally is really fun with alot of players. Lots of interference from other players to mess up you robot moves. Ben won this game.
A Game of Thrones is based off the first book. It's alright. It think the game needs something more, like a random "luck" factor that we didn't play with. Ben won this game too.

The new Bot Shots Launchers were out at Walmart. I got both Prime and Megatron.

FYI: The Prime that comes with the Launcher has different states and paint job than the individually packed Prime.
