Unicron!

Went to dinner tonight with Julie, Arseni, Sophie, and friends. We went to Little Sheep. It was good. Lamb in hot pot is the best. Ate alot of the Fried Dough covered with condensed milk too. Too bad I burnt my tongue and the roof of my mouth on a hot exploding quail egg :(

Julie got for me for Christmas, one of the only Tranformer's Statues I'm missing in my collection. It's the Unicron Statue.

^ Unicron Statue.
Thank you Julie. I'll put it together this weekend.

I gave Julie a rare collector's bottle of vodka... Dan Akroyd's Crystal Head Vodka. Quadruple distilled, the 4th time distilled through diamonds. The skull may have mystical properties too... ;)

Zoe's Brain Teaser (Mark's Alternate Solution) :

Instead of assuming the numbers are in base 10, assume they are in base 3. Move the least significant digit of 101 such that it becomes the most significant digit. I.e., move the rightmost 1 to the left of the two other digits.

Thus, 101 - 102 = 1 becomes 110 - 102 = 1.

110 (in base 3) = 1*(3^2) + 1*(3^1) + 0*(3^0) = 12 (in base 10)
102 (in base 3) = 1*(3^2) + 0*(3^1) + 2*(3^0) = 11 (in base 10)
and 1 (in base 3) = 1 (in base 10), of course.

12 - 11 = 1 is true in base 10, thus 110 - 102 = 1 is true in base 3.
