Weekend Report: Cosmos Found

Food this weekend ->
Got some pork schnitzel from Sobey's   Instead of frying it, I tried baking it with some 5 minute french fries since it was pounded pretty thin and would cook fast.

It didn't brown like I thought it would but it was still good.  The bottom was abit wet, so next time I will flip it or use an elevated grill.

I also got a blade steak from Sobey's.  They were on sale for a good price.  It's a chewy cut, but I prefer it that way.  Pan cooked it with veggies.

Made some grill cheese with mock chicken sandwiches and added a side of chips.  I pan toasted the sandwiches in the leftover steak drippings.

Useless Gaming News:
Saturday night gaming at Brian's place.  Started with some 4 player Crokinole then Blueprints.

When Paul showed up, we played 5-player Eclipse.  Space domination game where you explore, research, and battle for victory points.  I like the game, but luck and resource management is very important.  Took us 3hrs to finish even with Gordon and Ben with previous experience, and with Brian giving up after the 2nd turn to play iPad (his attitude was super annoy/discouraging, and he screwed up the game).

Picked up Transformers Generations: Cosmos in Barrhaven Walmart on a tip from Gordon.  Rhinox and Swerve are on it's way from Toys R Us.
