Dinner today -> Steak and Veggies.
Pan cooked a rib steak with some baby bok choi and baby corn.  I first boiled the bok choi and corn, and then finished them in the same pan the steak was in, to absorb all the drippings.

AKB48 36th single is called "Labrador Retriever".  It was performed live for the 1st time in last Saturday's concert.  Watanabe Mayu is the center.
The song is OK.  It'll still sell well, as this single includes the Election voting tickets and the B-side has Yuko's graduation song.

I had Thursday off and I spent most of the time playing Diablo 3.
I also had Friday off.  I would have spent most of the day playing Diablo 3 too, if I didn't break to go out for Dim Sum at Chu Shing.  I emailed Julie and she was free to go. I haven't been for dim sum in awhile and we got alot of dishes. We had a nice deep chat too.

We also ran into Dr.Mok on the streets afterwards.  I had just saw him on Tuesday for my dental cleaning.  I don't see him for a year and now I see him twice in less than a week.  Small world.

Saturday was a late lunch with my relatives from Montreal.  We had Rideau Restaurant take out.  Lots of noodle and rice dishes.

Desserts were good too.  We had egg tarts, carrot cake, and Nutella Crepe cake!!!

Checkout the perfect alternating layering of the crepes and nutella cream.  Cake is from Les Delices Lafrenaie in Montreal.

Sunday was a potluck at Jeff & Linda's place.  I made Black Pepper Spaghetti with sliced rib steak topped with poached eggs (not pictured).  The runny egg yolk changes the flavour of the spaghetti when you split the poached egg over the noodles.

Linda made Sheperd's Pie.  It was good.  I couldn't taste the celery that she put in.

After dinner, we played some games.  Started with a couple rounds of "Blueprints".

Then a long game of "What's He Building in There?".  Anthony destroyed us by getting Stage 3 weapons and Stage 3 escape plans.  Jeff and I were struggling just to get both Stage 1 levels at the end.

Useless Idol News:
The 2 day AKB48 concert was this weekend.  The 2nd day was suppose to be Yuko's graduation concert, but it got cancelled due to very strong winds.  Sayanee reported part of the stage was blown down.  Not sure how Yuko will graduate now?  Seems like Mother Nature doesn't want Yuko to leave AKB too :)

Useless Food News:
I got another container of Beancurds from T&T on Tuesday.  I carefully put it in a plastic bag because last time the juices spilled out into my reusable shopping bag.  But when I went to the cashier to pay, she picked up the beancurd container and then she flipped it upside-down to scan it!  Some of the juice leaked out and made a mess inside the bag!

Got my KickStarted copy of Baldrick's Tomb.  It's described as a 30minute dungeon crawl.  The extra Kicker Paks and Token Paks are shipping later.

AKB48's Oshima Yuko's graduation concert in this weekend.  Some of it is going to be streamed live on TV in Japan.  I'll be up early Sunday morning to watch online.  Her last performance in the AKB Theatre is in June.

Lunch today -> Wendy's Chili.
Ed and I got some Wendy's chili for lunch today.  I actually wanted to get some Vietnamese subs but we couldn't find any parking spots.  So we just went to the drive-through.  They chili today was abit watery.  It was thicker last time I got it.  It was still good.

Useless TV News:
I ordered a Running Man hoodie from eBay.  I got it in orange.

The seller even converted my name into Korean and stuck it on the tear-off name tag.  It's so cool.  It came with a mini "spy" tag to stick under the name tag.

Dinner today -> Noodles and Ribs.
Went to the dentist this afternoon for a checkup.  0 cavities as usual :)  Went to T&T afterwards and picked up some noodles and BBQ ribs for dinner.  Not much meat on the ribs and what meat was there was dry or really fatty.  Wasn't worth it.  I should have gotten some sushi.

Picked up the Diablo 3 expansion "Reaper of Souls" today.  I got the collector's edition.  The item drops for level 61+ are amazing!  If you have Diablo 3, you got to get this expansion.

Dinner today -> Crescent Rolls.
Baked some crescent rolls for dinner.  Wasn't that hungry and didn't feel like making anything with alot of work.

Snack today -> Snow Crab Chips.
Got these Snow Crab Chips from T&T.  They are like shrimp chips but have a cute mini-crab shape.  They are really good and crunchy, but after eating a few, I find they don't really have a strong crab flavour.  They taste more like chicken ramen flavour.  I'm good with that :).  I need another bag.

4 Egg 3 Cheese Omelette with a side of leftover greens and beef, for a 1pm breakfast on Saturday.

Saturday's dinner consisted of a nuked M&M Meat's Pot Roast with some scratch made Curry Pilaf.

The pot roast shredded up like pulled pork and soaked up the gravy nicely.  It went well with my pilaf.

Finally got around to watching Captain America: The First Avenger.  Now I'm ready for the new one in a couple weeks.  The movie did a good job describing the back story.  The ending could have been more exciting, but it is the expected ending to link to Avengers.

Simple and good.  Sauce could have been a little thicker, but the rice still soaked up the sauce nicely.

Got the final delivery of Zombicide: Season 2 in the mail today.  It's the remaining exclusive promos from KickStarter.

Snack today -> Peanut Butter Oreos.
I've been snacking on these really tasty Peanut Butter Oreos for a few days now.  They are so good, especially when you eat them by splitting them into their components: cookie, peanut butter cream, then cookie.

I got this small package in the mail today.  It was 9 tokens.  When I first opened it, I had no clue for what it was for and for what game.  There were no instructions.  I figured out it was for the Byzantio Event Set I.  I'm really disappointed printed instructions were not included.

Bakeable Kit Kats

Lunch today -> Urban Turban.
Steve, Ed, and I tried out the Urban Turban Restaurant.  New owners took over the former Bombay Masala.  Lunch was an all you can eat Indian buffet.
The butter chicken was very good, but the vegetarian mushroom mattar was even better!

The lamb was excellent.  Chunks of lamb on the bone.  Sucking the marrow out of the bone was superb.

Dessert was so-so.  Not a fan of the rice pudding.  I found it watery and the basmati rice was to individualized.  I would have preferred it thicker or the rice more mushy.  The honey ball thing was good.

Useless Japan News:
New limited edition Kit Kats are coming out in Japan on March 24.  What's different about these, is that you bake them before eating!  I had to try these and I pre-ordered a bunch on J-Box.  They are only $2.80US too (compared to $5 from the article).
