Empty, Can't Pee

I had a doctor's checkup this morning.  When I got there I was unexpectedly given a bottle to fill.  Since I didn't know I had to hold my pee, I peed before I went to the doc's.  I tried to fill the bottle for 5 minutes, but I was empty and nothing was coming out. They should really tell you before hand if they want to make yellow snow :)

Useless Anime Info:
I completed my AKB0048 AR Stage 1 card set.  It came down to the 3rd last pack in the last box to open the last S Rare I needed.  I was also lucky to get all 3 K Rares for the set, since they were only 1 per box.  I also have Promo Cards #2, 4, 5, 6.  Only missing Promo #1 and #3, but I don't know where to get them.

Shocking Scandal

Lunch today -> Salt and Vinegar Fries.
Made a trip to Centrum at lunch.  No new Transformers at Walmart.  Still missing Swindle and Brawl from Fall of Cyberton line.  Then I stopped at Glen's by Canadian Tire and got some fresh salt and vinegar fries.  They taste so much better eating them outside, now that the weather is cold.

The bag was full to the rim, but by the time I got back to my desk I've already eaten half the bag while driving.

Useless Idol News:
The shocking news today was that 2nd Generation member and songstress, Masuda Yuka has resigned from AKB48.  A gossip newspaper has caught her staying overnight at her co-star's place.  Yuka took some responsibility and resigned.  Article here.

Also shocking to me is that "Funky Monkey Babys" will be disbanding in the spring!  I like their songs and they are neat to watch perform.  Article here.

While these announcement were going on, the other AKB girls were performing at the Best Artist 2012 show, in animal cosplay!

Useless TV Info:
I finally finished watching Game of Thrones Season 2.  It's really good, especially the last half of the 2nd season where fantasy and magic enter the show.  For some reason I thought there was no magic in the show, but it's probably because I was influenced by the great anime "Sword Art Online" (there are fantasy creatures but no magic).  Anyways, everyone should watch this show.  Now waiting for Season 3 to air.
BTW: Did everyone see who save Stewie's life in Family Guy on Sunday!  It was awesome.  I didn't see that coming at all.

I had a cup of miso soup for breakfast so I wasn't very hungry at lunchtime.  I just snacked on some cookies, Gobstoppers, and Doritos.  I had some Timbits in the afternoon too.

Nov 30 is the last day to vote for AKB48's Request Hour Best Setlist 100 2013.  I had 6 votes and voted for B5's "Candy" with all of them.

Did some Black Friday shopping on Friday, but before I started I went to Hull and checked on the Vachon Outlet.  There were still Vachon trucks outside, but the store is not there anymore :(
Went to Carlingwood Mall first.  I wasn't looking for anything in particular.  I picked up a Soundwave t-shirt and some cool secret stuff for Christmas.

I tried to go to Bayshore afterwards, but the line of cars to get into the Bayshore parking lot was insane.  I didn't bother going in and headed off the TRU and Micheals back in Kanata.

Food this weekend ->
Got some pho #15 XL from KNH (Kanata Noodle House for those who forgot).  It's a new record!  I sat down to wait and sent a couple of text messages about Bayshore and then my order was ready!  It was only about 2 minutes of waiting!

Useless Gaming News:
5 player gaming at Brian's house.  We started with 1 game of Saboteur 1.  It was fun.  Then we added Saboteur 2.  The game becomes 10 times better!  The new dwarf types and new cards/rules make it so much more fun.  This could be my new go to game to play!

We also played The Resistance.  It's a card game about a group of resistance fighters trying to complete 3 of 5 missions.  2 players are traitors and try to fail the missions.  The other players try to figure out who they are by how each player's actions.  We played with the minimum 5 people, but it was still pretty fun and pretty hilarious if you can get some players to completely believe your lies :)

Then we played Risk Legacy.  Similar to Risk, but different because the actions in 1 game will permanently affect the play in Games 2 through 15.  This is why every game is different for everyone in the world.  Permanent stickers are used and your suppose to write on the board.  Very unique game and pretty cool, but you should try to have the same 5 players everytime you play.
Gordon won this practice game.  Paul and I got slaughtered and we kept rolling so bad!

Took today off and ran some errands.  I finally got around to renewing my passport, eventhough I prepared all the info and pics a couple of months ago.
I also got new winter wipers for the car, checked out TRU (nothing new), got some groceries and a bunch of little things.  Then I spent the rest of the afternoon playing Diablo III and watching some Game of Thrones.
I was thinking of going to the Vachon Outlet in Hull (near the Hull Casino and Top Karting), but thought against it... BUT now I think I should have gone and gottens some discount Twinkies and Joe Louises.  I haven't been in a couple of years, but I think it is still there?  Maybe I'll on Fri.  I took Fri off too to do some Black Friday shopping at Bayshore and Carlingwood.
UPDATE: The Vachon Outlet is gone.  Maybe it moved?  If anyone knows, let me know where.

Lunch today - McDonald's Chicken McBites.
I tried the new McBites.  Not really that good and totally not worth it.  I got the 20 piece chicken McBites with Ranch sauce.  It was almost $5 for a little cup of minimicro-chicken nuggets.  The cup was only half full since the "bites" were that small.  I should have gotten the 20 piece McNuggets for a few dollars more.  If you really want "bites" you mind as well go to KFC and their popcorn chicken.  Atleast their chicken will covered in finger licking good spice.

Emi ordered me a Takamina Noodle Cup :)  I wanted Yuko, but she and Kojiharu were already sold out.  Thank you Emi!  Your awesome.  As I'm writting this, all the cups are now sold out.

Peeing Statue

My parents came back from China last week and I got some souvenirs.  I got some playing cards with pictures from places near his village, a wine bottle that hides an umbrella, and the coolest of all: a peeing statue!  When hot water is poured on the statue's head, it pees a stream of water... the hotter, the further it goes.

CMC boyz checked out the new Thai place near Hockey Sushi today, Baan Thai Restaurant.  It's a branch from the Center Point restaurant. 
I got the Pad Thai with Shrimp at level 2/5 spiciness.  It was pretty good.  Lots of flavour and the noodles wasn't overpowered in peanut sauce.  Level 2 spicy is wasn't high enough, but I'll try a 4 next time.  My only quip is the portion is abit small and I could have eaten more, but maybe the dinner version is bigger?

Useless TV News:
Started watching HBO's Game of Thones TV show.  I'm halfway through season 1 and it's getting really good.  I recommend people check it out, but it has some extreme scenes of violence, sex, and nudity.
BTW: The intro is really cool, but after seeing it a few times it is really, really long.
BTW2: Everytime I see The Hand (Eddard Stark), I always see him as Boromir from Lord of the Rings.  They just dress exactly the same.

Dinner today -> Roast Beef.
Bought a chunck of sale Sterling Silver Roast Beef today.  Dry rubbed it and cooked it in the oven with some root vegetables.

Is Wii U that hard to find?

Useless Gaming News:
I made a couple quick stops today during lunch to look for a "Wii U".  It was only released yesterday and people are already selling it on eBay for $750+!!!  I wasn't planning on getting one just yet, but I wanted to see how hard it was to find.  So the hunt was on, but it didn't last very long.
My first stop was at Toys R Us.  I walked in, looked around at the Transformers (my priorities) and Nano Blocks, then went to the electronics section and picked a 32GB Wii U and Super Mario Bros U with no problems at all, and all at regular price... granted the TRU delivery truck had just shown up with new stock :).
I dropped by Walmart after and they had nothing on the shelf and were taking names for a reservation list for the next available Wii U.
Now I need to decide what I want to do with my Wii U.  (New Poll on the left.)

Since I was at Walmart and the McDonald's line was super long, I picked up a Hungry Man dinner, some Tim Bits, and a double-double coffee for lunch. 2L Minute Maid orange juice cartons are on sale for $2 too, but the "lots-of-pulp" didn't really have any pulp at all?  The Oasis brand orange juice tastes better too.

Our family celebrated Susanna's birthday early.  We went to dinner at Little Sheep.  We got reservations at 5:30pm on Saturday and the place was packed with tons of standing people by 6!  I got the regular broth and I ate a ton of meat and shitake/straw mushrooms.

5 player gaming at Ben's on Friday night.  We started with a few rounds of "Rumble in the House".
Then we moved on to "Last Night on Earth".  It's a zombie survival game that has different scenarios to play.  I find it really fun, even when the heroes have the scenario in the bag, the zombies can come back and win.

Then we played "Space Alert".  A quick co-operative game that takes alot of communication between the players.  The basic idea is to defend the space station for attacking waves of alien ships, but you only have 10 minutes to co-ordinate it.

After dinner, Jeff, Ben and I went to Fun Haven.  We paid $10 to play unlimited video games (Wednesday special).  Ben and Jeff finished Terminator Salvation.

I saw this on sale at Toys R Us today for $35 from $50: Mini UFO Machine.

For the sale price, it is worth it.  It's really cool and freaking hard!  The claw is really weak so you need the perfect grab to pick up anything.  You have until the music stops to get a prize.  It comes with cheap plastic tokens to use, but I'm using 1 Yen coins instead :)

Got a Canadian from Little Caesars for lunch.  There was heavy construction at Hazeldean and Terry Fox today and it took me forever to get the pizza and get back to my desk.
