Weekend Report: Holiday is Over

Back to work on Monday, but flash back to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners.

Christmas Eve dinner at Joe and Joan's this year.  Lots of good appetizers.  I made sushi and cheese cake dippers.

While waiting for the main food, the kids played alot of Super Smash Bros U.  6 players + 2 CPUs brawl.

Main courses were delicious.  Alot of seafood this year.

Huge plate of giant lobsters!  I over filled on the appetizers, so I didn't eat alot of lobster.

Ben made a Christmas meat cake and made it look like a dessert cake.  It was pretty good, but it was overshadowed by the other dishes.

On Christmas Day, we had hotpot dinner.  Appetizers by Susanna (shrimp wraps), Ben (Korean Potstickers), and me (sushi).

I a bag of huge lobster claws from Costco for the hotpot.  The meat was really easy to break out of the shell and really delicious.

Dessert was a chocolate cake, mocha cake, cherry/blueberry cheese cake with bacon, and lemon squares.
