Scarring Mushroom Caps

Dinner today -> Mizutaki
I threw together chicken drumsticks, white mushrooms, shitake mushrooms, and nappa to make an impromptu mizutaki (aka chicken hotpot).  Lots of flavour from the shitake mushrooms, and the nappa adds a peppery crunch.

I like taking the time to scar the mushroom caps with an "X".  They look neat and more appetizing to eat with them.
