Happy Father's Day. |
Food this weekend ->
BBQ at home for Father's Day. Susanna prepared chicken thighs, eggplant, zuchinni, and 3 versions of steak (salt & pepper, rosemary, and BBQ sauce). I made ribs and brought Caesar salad.
Ben made topokki and brought red velvet cake from Sobeys.

The red velvet cake was extremely good.

On Friday, Ed, Steve, Peter, and I went to
Burger Builder by Home Depot in Kanata for lunch. We got there early and before the long line-up.
|
Burger Builder. |
I got the 1x4oz patty on a grill cheese bun and topped with "build to code" toppings. (That's 2 grill cheese sandwiches with a burger in the middle.)

It was too big for my mouth and I had to squish it down. I also got fries, but the fries were a super disappointment. I would dare say that the toppings for the fries (kosher salt, vinegar, fish malt vinegar, and ketchup) were better than the fries themselves. Just go to Costco or Glens (by Canadian Tire) for fries.

1/2 way through. |

FYI: get the Awesome sauce. It's good.
Useless Gaming News:
5 Player gaming at Brian's Saturday night. We did 2 scenarios from Star Wars: Imperial Assault. The games took way too long and Gordon left around 1:30am and Paul quit at 2am. If Ben and Brian listened to me and played to the objective of the mission, we would have been finished before 1am. 1 more scenario and we will finally be done with the game. Our group does not play well as an RPG group.
|
2nd Scenario: Destroy AT-ST. |
|
30mins later... we didn't move much. |
