Friday was Donut Day. I was abit late to work, because I forgot my badge; but there were still donuts and TimBits left in the kitchen.

Donut Day! |
Tried to make Chinese BBQ pork. It looked really good from the outside, but it was the pork tenderloin I used was way too lean. It tasted OK.

Dry BBQ Pork. |
I also made more BBQ chicken liver. This came out really well. Susanna took most of it home. The chicken liver quality from Farmboy was very fresh, well cut, and needed little trimming. I'm only buying chicken liver from there, from now on.

Good BBQ Liver. |
Dinner at Parent's house on Saturday night. A mix of Chinese food from Rideau and Korean food from Hana Hana. Ben said the tofu stew was awesome, but it was only OK. Abit watery.

Chinese and Korean Take-out. |
Canner lobsters was on sale at Sobey's: 2 for $10. I got 4 females. Abit small, but the eggs and green stuff make up for it. Got a 2 5-packs of corn from Farmboy for $5. Never again will I get this. It had 1 good corn cob and the rest were not ones I would select normally (smaller than normal, not fully grown top end, mashed parts). Shame on you Farmboy for using this to get rid of bad product.

Useless Gaming News:
4 player gaming at Brian's on Friday night. We started with Tiny Epic Defenders. I like the game. Must work as a team and use character abilities to the fullest.
Then we played a game that is like a video game. Don't remember name, but it was "something Crusade"? Anyways, it's a not bad game, maybe abit too long. The gauss gun weapon is broken too. Ben bought and used it early, and won easily. Might have been more fun if Brian didn't give up before his 1st turn and didn't play on his iPad while we played. Brian went last on the 1st turn and said Ben and I took his moves. Too bad! There was other stuff to do. We played high move cards to get the earlier turns, so we can get the good moves. Also if Brian was paying attention instead of playing his iPad, he would actually know the rules by the end of the game, instead of making useless moves, dying, and giving up.
