Weekend Report

Friday:
Downloaded and watched episode 8 of Majisuka Gakuen. Majisuka Ep8 is nuts!!! It introduces Gekikara. She's psycho. Uber-violence and blood everywhere! Crazy awesome episode :)
Torrent here. No subs yet.

^ Less bloody screen cap of Matsui Rena as Gekikara.
(Nasty part: Gekikara shoves a pencil up Wota's nose. The camera cuts away, but your hear her screaming in the background...)

Saturday:
Went with my family to Panda Garden Buffet in Kanata for lunch.
The decor of the restaurant is really nice. The walls look high-class, but the tables didn't match and looked cheap.
The food was so-so. It has mostly Gwai-lo Chinese Food (aka Canadian Chinese Food). Don't expect anything spectacular if you go.

^ Plates 3-5 (forgot to take pics of plates 1, 2, and only remembered half-way through plate 3)

The best item they got is the shrimp rolled in deep fried wonton skin (see plate 4, top right).
While eating my meal, I was thinking the whole time that almost everything they have to offer in the buffet, I could probably make myself; and make it taste better too. Then I thought, "I could be the head chef here!" :)
The worst item was the Singapore Rice Noodles. It's normally yellow and little bit spicy with bits of meat, shrimps, and bean sprouts in it, but here it was red and tastes like they only added ketchup and bean sprouts. Totally disgusting.
The funny item was the black-bean short ribs. It's funny because Susanna shot the ribs into her face when she was eating it. LOL :p

Sunday:
Watched the Olympic gold medal game between Canada and the US. I got some snacks earlier to munch on.

^ Timbits, DimSum, Bean Curds.

It was an incredible game.
The NBC play-by-play feed was funny. Early in the 3rd period, right after Canada hit the post, one of the commentators said that Canada had a "virtual 2 goal lead". Then the other commentator shot him down, saying "virtual leads don't count in hockey". LOL

Canada won 3-2 in Overtime.
