Suspicious Soil???

I went home for lunch today.  When I was about to enter through the garage, I noticed that there was some loose soil along the garage door of my neighbours house.

Upon closer inspection I notice the soil was moving.  It wasn't soil at all!  It was all little reddish-brown ants!!!  I ran into the garage and got the Raid Home Defense spray and sprayed it all around my garage perimeter.  I didn't kill the ants.  It's not my problem as long as they stay on that side of the driveway.

Useless Softball News:
CMC Strike Fighters lost to Molson Canadian, 18-9 today.  We gave up one 10 run inning again, and that's what cost us.  I hit 3-for-3 with 3 singles.

Useless Gaming News:
I've only slept 10 hours since Saturday noon.  I've spent most of the time awake playing Diablo 3.  Here is my level 32 Monk and his Scoundrel follower.  The scoundrel actually does more damage than I do.  I do 702% extra damage and he does 753.5% extra damage, and he has multi-arrows too.

AKB48's lastest single, "Manatsu no Sounds Good!" was released today in Japan.  I'm hoping I get mine before June 6.  This CD contains the election tickets for voting who gets to be in the next single, and I need to vote for Kasai :)

Long Weekend Report: Victoria Day

Happy (belated) Twin Birthdays Mia and Tommy!!!

I spent most of the long weekend playing Diablo 3.  I'm almost done Act 3.  I've been spending alot of virtual money in the auction house too.  Selling useless rare equipment and loading up my Monk with Dexterity boosting equipment.  My monk is a demon killing machine.

I did spend a bit of time outside.  I potted the giant pumpkin plants Steve game me.

Did anyone see the solar eclipse Sunday afternoon?  I only knew about it when I watched the Japan news Monday morning and they were showing videos and about how alot of people got married exactly when the eclipse formed the ring.

Food this weekend ->
Lobster was on sale at Loblaws.  I was there Friday morning getting 2 of them.  As I ordered, I told the seafood guy that I wanted 2 female lobsters.  The lady and guy beside me, told me that they didn't know they could order just females, and they proceed to copy me and order just female ones too.
This girl put up a big fight by stretching out her claws sideways when I went to put her in the boiling water.

There is a office chair event at Staples.  All their chairs were 50% off.  I got a new computer chair for $80.

Sushi Overload

Lunch today -> Hockey Sushi.
Ed and I went to Hockey Sushi to use his coupon for a free meal.  We stuffed ourselves.  I noted that there is more rice in the sushi now.  It should only be about half the amount of rice for the amount of fish.  I've started cutting out half and leaving it on the plate.

I went back to Hockey Sushi for another round with Ben, Susanna, and my dad.  We went because we had to use 2 more coupons I had.  Stuffed ourselves again, but this time I remembered to take some pics.

Every time I get the Salmon Skin Roll, it is either burnt or there is hardly any salmon skin in it.  This time there was almost no Salmon Skin in it, so basically it was a slivered cucumber roll.

I decided to take Friday off and play Diablo 3 all day :)  Have fun at work guys :P

Useless Gaming Info:
I installed and tried to play Diablo 3 last night.  The game wouldn't start and I spent alot of time searching the forums for the fix.  I didn't find one.  I just decided to restart my computer and try again.  The game started up and began downloading updates and started working!  When I finally started playing it was around 10:30pm.  Then around 11:30pm, the servers crashed and you can't play without being connected.  I only got to play 1hr of Diablo 3 :(

1st Win of 2012 Season

CMC Strike Fighters WIN!  We beat Hellcats 17-6.  It was a costly win.  Paul #2 got hit in the face and was gushing blood from a deep cut over his eyebrow (he left to get stitches).  Gary then twisted his ankle sliding into 2nd, cutting up his legs too.  But it was a great win for the team, when we were expecting to lose, as we were short players.
I went 2 for 4 with single and a double.

Diablo 3 was released today.  Picked up my pre-ordered copy.  I'm going to install it and play all night right after I publish this post :)

I got my Rogers box fixed last week.  My cable box was blown and I had to get a new replacement.  I wonder why the 1st tech guy didn't figure that out?  I got a free Rogers bag too.

Useless Gaming News:
Ben, Hong-Ming and I were playing 3 player Magic on Friday night.  In one game where I was using my W/G life-gain deck, they had me down to 1 life and Ben was about to kill me with an all out attack; but for some reason Hong-Ming decided to play Fog and nulify all the damage.  He said he needed me around for 1 more turn.

That 1 turn cost them :)  I topped decked Armadillo Cloak and enchanted my 24/24 Ageless Entity with it.  I proceeded to pound them the next couple of turns and finished with a 70/70 Ageless Entity and over 35 life.  Ben was so pissed about the Fog.  He knew I couldn't be left to live, but Hong-Ming didn't :P

This weekend was the Ottawa ComicCon.  Ben, Hong-Ming, and myself went on Saturday.  We got there at 10:30am and there was a HUGE snaking line to get in.  When we thought we were getting close to the entrance when we discovered the line snaked behind the building!  We waited over 1.5hrs in line under the sun.  I got sunburned abit on my face.

Right before we got in, these girls were standing by the entrance.  Their sign made me laugh.  Maybe I'll modify it to say Fongpay later :)

I went to Hockey Sushi after ComicCon by myself.  I wasn't very hungry but I had a coupon for the free meal to use.  What I didn't know in the small print, that you can't use the coupon unless there are 2 people eating!  Since I wasn't very hungry I only made 1 order for sushi and 1 order for dessert, and I had to pay full price!  That SwarmJam coupon was not worth it.  Anyone want to go to Hockey Sushi with me to use up the coupon this week?
