Food this weekend ->
Susanna and I went to the Carp Garlic Fest on Saturday. It was pretty busy with lots to see,eat, and buy.

I bought about 10 purple garlic bulbs. We also bought some fresh dill bread and garlic cheese pull-apart bread. The dill bread was good, especially when I dipped it in some whipped smoked salmon. The garlic cheese pull-apart was not good. There was very little cheese in it, garlic only on the top, and it did NOT pull-apart.

Before going home, we walked to the Carp Creamery. I got a Black Cheery Ice Cream in a cone. Lots of cherries in it and it was very good.

Dinner Saturday was from The Fry. They are only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays now. Only 3 days a week... I think might be closing soon. Anyways, I got a small Garlic and Soy Chicken and an order of Rice Cakes. Both were excellent.

Dinner Sunday was steak with a side of mushrooms with red onions, corn, and fresh tomatoes. Cooked it on my new Lagostina frying pan. It was on sale for $40 from $140 at Canadian Tire. It better last longer than 2 years.

Useless Gaming News:
4 Player Gaming at Brian's on Friday night. We played 4 new games:
Ship Shape - A really fun bidding and tile game where you build your cargo to score points over 3 rounds. It was just released on Kickstarter, but I got my copy from the store.
Ancestree - A family tree building game using tile drafting. Good game too, but you need to commit to a scoring method to win (family chain/marriages/gold).

Spy Master - A worker movement game with card manipulation to score mission points. Good game, but lacks something to get more movement for the neutral agents.

Throw, Throw Burrito - Just like Exploding Kittens, but when you get a special card match, it triggers throwing foam burritos. Not my type of game. Aimed for kids/teenagers. This game will definately break something in the house.
