Crunchy Fishies

I heard on the radio on the way home that there will be a heat warning for Friday and Saturday.  Both days will be +40C!  It's going to be boiling hot outside, while I'll be freezing cold inside.

Snack today -> Chili Sesame Fish.
I wanted to munch on something after lunch today, but the vending machine was out of chips.  I found a package of Chili Sesame Fish in my drawer that I forgot about.  SCORE!  Tasty and crunchy fishies.  It went perfectly with my roasted green tea :)

Dinner today -> Stone Chicken Round 2
Made another batch of teriyaki chicken thighs in the stone bakeware pot.  Cooked it in the microwave for 15 minutes.

I put carrots, red onions, and garlic cloves in with it this time.  Served it with rice.

Glitter Trap

I was given some Red Envelopes this past weekend, and I'm pretty sure the one Dino gave me was trapped.

It's looks nice with all the gold, but all that gold glitter comes off in my pockets and sticks to my hands!  I put my iPhone in my pocket and the screen comes out covered in glitter! :)

Dinner today -> Stone Chicken.
Susanna gave me a Pampered Chef Stone bakeware for my birthday.  I used it today to cook some teriyaki chicken thighs with carrots and zucchini squash.I cooked it all in the microwave in 13 minutes.

Useless Softball News:
CMC Strike Fighters lost again today.  We lost 15-7 against "Da Knobs".  We gave up 5 runs in the 1st and last innings, which pretty much cost us the game.  Other than those bad innings, our defence played pretty good. 
FYI: Julie didn't get injured tonight :)  A first!  She also hit 4-for-4 with 4 singles.
I only hit 1-for-3, but I got a triple and 2 RBI!

Julie's brother, Roger, came to watch the game.  When we were waiting out the rain, Jeno asked me who was sitting in the back seat of my car, and for some unknown reason I yelled out, "It's Julie's sister!" LOL (Julie hit me and corrected me).  I have no clue why I said that?!?!  LOL
Sorry Roger.  It must have been your long hair and your facial hair that threw me ;) LOL

Lunch today -> T&T Fries (not the grocery store).
I was in Bell's Corners to pick up a part for my fish tank from the Electrical and Plumbing Store, and I decided to get lunch from a chip wagon called T&T Fries.  I had a picture of the Large Fries and Cheeseburger I ordered, but I'm not posting it.  The food was NOT good, and it was not worth $9.50!  I thought for those prices, it must be good?  I was wrong. 
The fries tasted weird and a little burnt.  I think he uses the same oil for everything, so the fries absorbed the flavours of the other foods cooked in the oil.  I only ate half the fries only because I was hungry and threw the rest away.  It wasn't even worth giving away.
The cheeseburger was $4.50 and it was a basic patty from Costco
I should have gone across the street to get burgers from The Butchery.

I only got a pic of the chicken wings cooking on the BBQ.  I was too busy eating steak, pork chops, jumbo scallops, beef on a stick, corn, and potatoes to remember to take pics of the food.  Someone should have reminded me!

Monday Lunch -> Chicken Wing Rice.
I marinaded some chicken wings in Teriyaki sauce for a couple days and then cooked them in the rice cooker.  Simple and good stuff.

Lunch today -> Vermicelli.

Ed and I got B9: Grilled Shrimp, Beef, and Chicken.  A couple spring rolls were thrown in too, but it doesn't say that in the menu. 
It was pretty good.  I'd get it again.  The only thing I found annoying was that all the vermicelli was cut into short little noodles.  Not sure why?  That made it too hard to pick up a bunch with chopsticks.  I had to scoop them up in a spoon.  Ed noticed the same thing.

Got a package in the mail today.  It had my set of Maeda's 2nd single "Kimi wa Boku da" CDs with the bonus photo.

I also got June and July issues of Smart Magazine.  AKB's Kojiharu and Mariko on the covers with some Not Yet and Yuko coverage.  They included some free designer Beams grooming kits and Stussy sandals too.

The Beams grooming kit is neat.  It includes a mirror, nail clippers, tweezers, ear picker, and nose hair trimmer? :) all packed in a leather folding case.
The Stussy sandals are nice too, but it was too small for my feet.

Junk Food

Lunch today -> Junk Food.
I had to hussle home to fix my stupid Yahoo email account (couldn't access it at work), so I dropped by Sobey's and Booster Juice on the way back to pick up something to eat.  There was nothing at Sobey's that looked good, so I just got a bag of chips.  I figure the Doritos and Cookies n Creme drops were balanced out by the Booster Juice.
