Dinner today -> KFC Congee.
I made a big pot of congee with some sliced Chinese mushrooms, preserved duck eggs, shredded KFC, and 1/3 of a medium KFC gravy bowl :) It's so good.

AKB48's "GIVE ME FIVE" CD was released today in Japan, and I got my CDs already! I used FedEx for shipping since it was cheaper than regular mail at CDJapan (not so at HMV).
I also got No Sleeve's "Pedicure Day" (Takamina version), AKB49 manga vol 6, and AKB48 24hrs in Glasses Mook.

Dinner today -> KFC
I was watching a bunch of videos on Youku yesterday, and before each video started there was a short Chinese KFC commercial. It was an appetizing commercial. It brainwashed me to get some today.
BTW: Did you know that at KFC in China, you can get congee with KFC in it! (That's how our family serves it at home.) It comes with a side of fried bread stick too.

Made a lake of cream of chicken soup surrounded by fried rice and sliced steak.

Weekend Report: Holey PJ Pants

Useless Pajama News:
In my favorite pair of pajama pants, I had worn in some small holes in each knee. On Saturday night, I was carrying some dishes from the basement up to the kitchen, and I caught my left leg pants hole on a bench corner and ripped a huge hole in it :( D'oh! But the worst part was when I was coming back down to the basement, I caught the right leg pants hole on the same bench corner and ripped it wide open too!! It was so stupid I LOL

I tried microwaving some bacon as the package said, and the bacon turned out too crispy and shrank about 1/2 it's size. It crunched like salty bacon chips. What a waste of some nice bacon.

1 Clean Sock

I think I have otitis externa. My right ear was aching last night and today. I kept scratching it and poking at it with a Q-Tip. Today I read that I shouldn't have done that... oops.

Useless Poll News:
I should have ended the poll on Thursday. I thought I had enough socks til Friday, but I discovered that I only have 1 clean sock left. It was the odd sock out after throwing out socks with holes in them (All my socks are grey so I can easily mix and match). I guess I'll wear 1 dirty sock and 1 clean sock on Friday :)

Dinner today -> Spicy Garlic and Lime Shrimp with Avocado.
I saw this made on TV, but I was only half watching the show, so I missed how they actually made this dish. I think this is how they made it, but I'm probably missing a few spices.
I cooked it in a pan and re-filled the empty avocado shells with the food. It was good :)

Superbowl Specials

Lunch today -> Faux Sushi.
Sobey's had a SuperBowl special on Sushi, Wings, and Pizza until Thursday (FYI: Lobster is on sale too).

I picked up a maki sushi boat at lunch time. It was not very good. The rice was all smushed, almost like mocchi. And the carrot sushi was just bad. I should have gotten the pizza.

Dinner today -> Sweet Chili Chicken Wings.
I also got some wings from Sobey's. I re-heated them in the oven. The Sweet Chili dipping sauce that came with them, was really good. The wings were good, but the M&M ones are still way better.

Useless Food News:
I saw the "Holy Crap" cereal. The bag is tiny! It's about the size of a small bag of chips. For $10 I think there might only be enough cereal in it for 1, maybe 2 bowls. Not worth it. Maybe if it goes on sale for $5 I might get a bag.
