Useless Transformers News:
When I was parked outside of Sobey's, I noticed the truck in front of me had something unique.
Autobot Truck.
It's got an Autobot symbol!  It reminded me that I should stick my Autobot shields on my car too.

Susanna and I were at the Revlon Warehouse sale tonight ,at the Nepean Sportsplex.  I picked up some cheap wipes and...

Magic Maze

Dinner today -> Red Curry Chicken.
Made some red curry tonight.  I added sliced boneless chicken thighs, mini red potatoes, organic carrots, red onions, and coconut milk.
Red Curry Chicken.
Ate it over fresh white rice.  Uber good.

Useless Gaming News:
Tried 4-player Magic Maze today.  Its a unique co-op game where there are no player turns to move the pawns around the map, because all players can only do certain actions.  ie move north, or move east, or search.  The object is to move the pawn around and explore a shopping mall, then steal equipment, and finally escape while flipping a 3 minute sand timer.  The hard part is nobody can talk or gesture.
Magic Maze.
It was pretty fun.  It gets abit frustrating because not everyone thinks the same way and sometimes you don't "see" what to do.  This co-op game can only be played with friendly player groups with no "quazi-alpha male" types trying to force it to become a 1 player game.  Those groups shouldn't play this, while everyone else should try this game out.

Buttery Gravy Flavour

Lunch today -> Soup, Chips, and Pears.
Tried some Chunky Beef soup.  It wasn't good.  I think there were only 4 pieces of meat in the whole can.  The rest was weird tasting carrots and plain potatoes.
Got the mini pears from Reza.  He picked them from his pear tree in his backyard.  These pears were soft, juicy and sweet.
Lunch.
Tried out the "mystery flavour" Pringles.  It was very good and savoury.  I didn't know what the flavour is at first, but it tasted like a very buttery gravy mix.  When I looked it up, the flavour was "Philly cheese steak".  I think I will get some more from Sobey's before it disappears.

Dinner today -> Schwartz's Montreal Smoke Meat.
Found frozen Schwartz's at Costco the other day.  I bought a box.  It was $17.99 for 6 packs of meat.  I made a pack in the microwave.  It only takes 1:30 to cook, but it was still frozen in the middle.  I nuked it for another minute and it was good.  Bought some rye bread from Sobey's and added some butter and yellow mustard.  Topped 5 slices of rye with 1 and 1/2 slices of meat.
Costco Schwartz's
The meat was OK.  You can tell it was machine sliced thin and wasn't fatty enough.  Real Schwartz is much better than this.  This seems to be more like Ruben's style of smoke meat (aka not as good at Schwartz).

Useless Transformers/DVD News:
Found the new Seaspray mini-bot at Walmart.  Didn't find Cosmos or the new Titan Masters.  BUT Ben found the Titan Masters for me at the Super Walmart.
Seaspray and Ranma 1/2 DVDs.
I also picked up the Ranma 1/2 OVA & Movie collection from Walmart.  I was missing this from my Ranma DVD collection and never got around to ordering it.  It's different packaging from the rest of my set, but I can live with it.

Weekend Report -> SNES Classic

Food this weekend ->
On Thursday for a snack, I tried out some Jelly Donut Oreos.  They are pretty good.  Initially they taste like a fruity Oreo cookie, but the aftertaste is just like a grape jelly donut.  I think I will get more the next time I'm in the US.

Went to Farmboy Friday morning and picked up some breakfast bar eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes.  I also got some pita wraps and made my own breakfast wraps.  It cost about $11.  Farmboy also sells pre-made breakfast wraps, but they cost $3.99 each.  I made 6 wraps for $11.

Went to T&T on Sunday.  I picked up a sushi party tray for $25.  It's not bad.  It tasted really good at first when I was hungry, but later in the evening, my stomach wasn't feeling that great...

Useless Gaming News:
Woke up early Friday morning and drove to Toys R Us to get inline for the SNES Classic.  I got there at 7am and I was #25 inline.
25th in Line.
The TRU flyer stated that each store had a minimum of 50 units.  So I got one and played it all Friday and Saturday.

Charity BBQ

Lunch today -> BBQ
Help run the charity BBQ at work today.  We served burgers with quarter-pounder patties from Costco.  They were very juicy and tasty.  I destroyed a couple and forgot to take a pic of the them.  There was also coleslaw, chips and drinks included with the donation.  The charity we chose was UNICEF because it's close to Halloween.

Susanna Rappeling

Dinner today -> Chicken Red Curry.
De-boned some chicken thighs and browned the meat in a pan (saving the chicken bones for soup another day); while boiling some red curry in a pot with coconut milk, red potatoes, and green onions.
Cooking Red Curry and Chicken.
When the chicken was seared on both sides, I poured and mixed in the red curry sauce.  Ate the curry over some fresh white rice.

Weekend Report -> Happy Birthday Mom!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!

My mom celebrated her 60th birthday early with her friends Saturday.  She partied so hard, she lost her voice when the family went out for dim sum on Sunday.
After dim sum, we had black forest cake... from T&T!
Birthday Cake.
Here is a slice.  It used sponge cake instead of regular cake and cherry jello instead of cherry jam.  It truly was a T&T/Chinese version of this cake.  :(  I had a kiwi on my slice.  It was the best part.
Chinese Style.

Food this weekend ->
I made some M&M Louisiana wings in the oven.  I baked them directly on my stone pan, and the wings came out really crispy.  The wings were also more spicy than I remember.
Louisiana Wings.
I also made some Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, but I didn't roll it.  I just left it flat on the pan.  It was abit too crispy all around and not fluffy enough.  There is a reason why it should be rolled.
Crescent Un-Rolled.

Ben, Susanna and I went to Maverick's Donut Company.  I got a 1/2 dozen of their specialty donuts.  I got 2 Creme Brule, 1 Lemon Ricotta, 2 Chocolate Peanutbutter, a 1 Berlinher.

Useless Plant News:
After sprinkling a 3rd wave of Miracle Grow on my cherry tomato plant, it has exploded again.  There are so many tomatoes on it and it has grown well past where I would have liked it have grown.  It has choked out most of the other plants and is in the progress of blocking out the hanging strawberry plant.
