Holy Crap

Dinner today -> Loblaws Fried Chicken.
I got some Fried Chicken from Loblaws. It was not very good. The skin was rock hard, and the meat was really tough. I should have gotten it from the Superstore. This is why I don't go to Loblaws any more. The quality has gone way down.

Weekend Report: Bad App

Food this weekend ->
As I started writing this post, I realized I didn't take many pics of food this weekend. I was trying to remember what I ate too. I ate pizza at Jeff's, but I think I just scavenged food from the fridge the rest of the weekend. The only pic I took was of the curry.

Useless Gaming News:
Ben, Jeff, and I played some Castle Panic and Pandemic on Friday. We lost Pandemic on Easy (4 Epidemic cards) and Pro (6 Epidemic cards), but won twice on Normal (5 Epidemic cards).
On Pro, I think we lost on the 3rd turn!

Got a couple of booster boxes and a fat pack of the newest Magic set: Dark Ascension.

Also downloaded the official "Magic Toolbox" app. Lots of bugs in it, and the card search feature is really slow. I don't recommend it at all, unless they fix it.
The life counter feature is good, but nothing special. You can't load a Player 1 profile, and it doesn't remember saved Avatars for players.
The card search feature starts searching right when you type the 1st letter. It just keeps churning until all the cards for that letter is filtered. It also reloads everything when you clear the search. It should only search after typing the whole word. The card search also doesn't bring up any card rulings either. Just use Gatherer from a browser, it is way better and has everything.

Early Spring?

Today was Groundhog day. The nearest mystical groundhog to Ottawa is Wiarton Willie. He predicted an "Early Spring" this year. Looks like most of the other groundhogs predicted the same thing too.

Dinner today -> Leftover Stew.
Just re-heat and serve. I still have enough left to transform it into curry tomorrow.

I finally remembered to buy some yogurt. I stuck it in the freezer. Let's see if it turns in to frozen yogurt or not?

Useless iPhone News:
Am I the only one who thinks these iPhone cases are really cool? I like the Uni and Ikura Sushi one and the Oden one. Too bad it's too expensive and I don't have a iPhone4S :(

Dinner today -> Stew.
I made a big pot of stew for dinner.
I boiled some marrow filled soup bones and rib fingers yesterday. I reboiled them today to get the marrow out and to make the meat all tender. Added dashi, onion, garlic, potatoes, and carrots. I finished it by stirring in a couple of eggs.

I was in a long meeting this afternoon. I was so glad I had that Strawberry Storm smoothie for energy, so I can make it through the meeting. I did get a cool doodle done.

Expired Hotdogs

Lunch today -> Miso Soup.
Wasn't hungry at lunchtime today. I just made a cup of Miso soup. I really like this brand. It has a dry pack for the seaweed, tofu, and green onions; and a wet pack for the miso.

Dinner today -> Kraft Dinner with Hotdogs and Veggies.
The hotdogs expired back in November 2011. I think they should still be good? I cooked and ate them anyways...

Made a trip to Little Caesar's for a pizza. I wanted a Canadian, but they only had a Supreme available.

I was thinking of ordering Rideau takeout for dinner, but I didn't want to drive there during rush hour, so I took a quick nap. I woke up at 8:45pm :( and I couldn't be bothered to go out. I made the bagels instead.
