Weekend Report: Rie Autograph

Food this weekend ->
I made some chicken drumsticks in the microwave.  Cooked some potatoes, carrots, whole garlic cloves, and mini-portabella mushrooms with the chicken.

I got a package from Japan with a bunch of AKB48, No Name, French Kiss, and AKB0048 stuff.

The AKB48 2012 Election Mook included a mousepad.  It's not as good as my 3D mousepad.

LotR Lego

Dinner today -> Steak, Tomatoes, Corn, and Coleslaw.
It was raining today, so I didn't BBQ the steak.

I saw at Playvalue and Walmart the other day that there are new Lord of the Rings Lego sets.  The "Battle of Helm's Deep" set looks cool.

I pre-ordered some boxes of AKB0048 AR Cards (cheaper here than at HLJ). 
Does anyone know if the AR cards will work on my 3DS?  Or do I need something else to use them, or is it only used in an arcade machine in Japan?

I didn’t like this song at first.  Maybe because I was expecting something similar to "Heavy Rotation", but after listening to it a couple times last night, I found that it got stuck in my head this morning.  The “heart” move with their hands by Yuko and the girls, is so cute!

Over-cooked Steak

Dinner today -> BBQ Steak with Corn and Tomatoes.
The rain stopped right before I was ready to cook the steak on the stove, so I jumped on the BBQ.  Too bad I over-cooked the steak on the BBQ :(

I got a package from Japan.  It had the Japanese snacks and learning cards I ordered.  It included some fruit gummies, takoyaki puffs, roasted Hojicha from Kyoto, and a smooth-flowing hi-tech black/red pen.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CINDY!!!

Dinner today -> Fettuccine Alfredo with Hotdogs.
Made a mess all over the stove making the Fettuccine.  The milk and water boiled over in the pot and started to burn on the stove.  It went from nothing to over flowing in the time it took me to wash the hotdogs!

A 3rd AKB48 game will be released on Dec 20th for PSP and PS Vita.  It'll be similar to the other AKB1/48 games except this time it's AKB1/153.  All AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48 members are in it!

There was non-stop eating this weekend.
Of course there was a stop at Rideau Restaurant.

Panda Garden Buffet.  The food quality has gone up.  BUT still not as good as Emerald (formerly du Barry).  The sushi is decent.  The dim sum stuff was good too.  I liked the chicken wings and cold mussels.

The big birthday dinner was at Chu Shing.  I think there are new owners and new chef.  The food was good, but not as good as before.  The menu items changed too.

Lobster > Ribs

Lunch today -> Lobster and Corn.
I was planning on getting some Flintstone ribs today for lunch, but I noticed in this week's Sobey's flyer that they had lobster on sale!  Today Lobster > Ribs.  I picked up a couple and some corn.  The lobster looked kind of small for 1lb.

AKB48's 27 Single (2012 Election single) "Gingham Check"CD covers are out :) Type A is just Yuko and Type B is the top 16 members.  Reminds me that I still need to pre-order these along with the new album that comes out in 2 weeks.

Discount Fresh Bread

Dinner today -> Pizza Bun and Cheese Bun with Bacon.
Did some late night grocery shopping today.  I picked up a dozen discounted fresh breads from Sobey's tonight for $1.99 (awesome deal after 9:30pm). I added some bacon strips to a pizza bun and a cheese bun and nuked them in the microwave :)
