Devil Tongue Noodles

Nothing much going on today. I had planned on going to T&T tonight, but I stayed at CMC til 7:15pm and was too hungry and tired to drive out there.

Dinner today -> Devil Tongue Noodles with BBQ Pork.
I boiled the noodles and made a sauce with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and wasabi. I think this would have been better if chilled the noodles cold instead of heating them.

$5 More for Collectors Edition

I picked up a copy of Marvel vs Capcom 3 for XBox360. I had to buy it from EB Games for $5 more than anywhere else because Future Shop and Best Buy were sold out of the Collector's Edition. It's too bad too, since I wanted to use either my $100 gift card at Future Shop or my $50 one at Best Buy.

Blood Orange

Dinner today -> Blade Steak on Fried Noodles with Garlic Butter Zucchini.
Went to FarmBoy after work. Blade Steak was on sale.

I wanted some more Naval Oranges too, but they weren't on sale anymore. I got a few Blood Oranges instead.

The Blood Orange isn't as sweet as I thought it would be. But the juices left on the cutting board does look like drops of blood :)

BTW: If you can't figure it out, the girl in pink (Jurina) is suppose to be dead/a ghost watching over the other girls, and inturn the girls continue to watch over her (;_;).
Maybe the PV has something to do with Japanese sakura tree mythology? Or symbolizing mortality? Or the tree holding the spirit, like in InuYasha?

Weekend Report: Cosmic Bowling

Went for a 2.5hr DimSum marathon on Saturday with Mallory, Stefano, Mallory's friend Grace, and some of her friends.
It was Mallory's 1st experience with DimSum. To christen this occasion, I made her eat some BBQ Chicken Feet :) She didn't like it, lol. When all the chicken feet was eaten, I found out that Grace had never tried chicken feet before either! Next time...
When I wasn't looking, Stefano ordered a dish with cold Duck Tongue in it. (Bad Stefano. Bad *smack him in the head*) I ate 1, but kept thinking it was tongue while I was eating it. (I should have saved one for Steve. I'm sure he would like it.)

There was some 5 Pin Bowling action with the CMC Strike Fighters members on Saturday night. Wait, it wasn't just normal bowling, but Cosmic Bowling :) If I had known before hand, I would have worn more white clothes.

Woke up Sunday morning with a fever and headache. I made a big pot of congee to eat all day. I put sliced Chinese mushrooms, cubed BBQ pork, cubed perserved eggs, chopped green onions, and abit of shredded chicken breast. It was really, really good. I might make more on Monday.

A Twitter post by Shinoda Mariko said she was doing promotions at the Horse Track over the weekend. This all seemed normal as she's done this before..., until my Twitter's "Japanese to English" translation said she was there to help sell 'Horse Soup'!

Pretty much the same as yesterday's fried rice, but with a creepy ketchup face :)

BTW: The original He-Man is on Teletoon Retro (ch.284) Friday nights at 9pm, followed by She-Ra. (Repeated Sunday morning.)
If Retro can get M.A.S.K., Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, and C.O.P.S. then I probably wouldn't watch any other channel. Does anyone know if complete seasons these shows are out on DVD yet?

I just ordered C.O.P.S. Vol 1 (to be released Feb 15, 2011), Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors Vol 1, and King Arthur and the Knights of Justice Complete Series from Amazon.com :)

Neon Pink Coleslaw

Lunch today -> Neon Pink Coleslaw.
As part of my lunch meal from the CMC cafeteria, was some little cup of coleslaw. It was neon pink. I tried a bit of it. You can really taste the "neon" (x_x)
