With no advance warning or rumours, AKB48's older sister group, SDN48 will disbanded on March 31, 2012. Reason will be explained by management later.
Also, in spring 2012 there will be a new anime series... an AKB48 Anime!
The members will "battle" each other in auditions to be voice actresses.
