Weekend Report: 3 Gideons

Food this weekend ->
Bought some pork and preserved egg congee from T&T.  I also got some BBQ pork and fried shrimps.  I topped the congee with them.  Very good, but he shrimp could be more spicy.

I pan fried and steamed a chunk of big head fish.  It was OK, but it is better just steamed.

A quick and simple salad with corn, tomatoes, and BBQ pork.

Useless Gaming News:
4 Player gaming Friday night.  Started with River Dragons, then a big game of Castles of Burgundy.  We played the beginner maps and everyone was in it, until Jeff pulled away with the lead and didn't look back.  We finished the night with a few rounds of Biblios.

Went to Geek Market and Gaming Expo Saturday night.  The Geek Market was big with lots of merchants, but none of them had very good deals.  I was surprised to see Smash Up: Munchkin for sale, but it was $44.  Online is $30.
Afterwards, 5-player gaming at Brian's.  The new game was Colt Express.  It's pretty fun.  It's got 3D trains and meeple to represent the train and players.  It plays similar to Roborally where moves are played ahead of time and then resolved.  The object is to collect money and shoot the other robbers while avoiding the sheriff and the train hazards.  Even-though we played this as 5-players and 4-players, I think this game is best suited for 6-players.

Useless M:tG News:
Picked up the new Battle for Zendikar cards on Friday.  The Fat Packs are a hot commodity.  They contain the highly sought after full art land cards.
Battle for Zendikar Cards.
Busy weekend, so I've only opened the packs from the Fat Pack, Pre-release Pack, and about 1/3 of a Booster Box.  Out of those packs I've already pulled 3 "Gideon, Ally of Zendikar" cards ($50 value each).  I hope to pull an Expedition card ($250-$500 value).
