Friday:
Went to T&T around 8pm. I was hoping for some Otoro Sushi or some Fried Noodles, but it was all sold out. No Portuguese Egg Tarts either :( I had to settle for some Chinese Sausage Rice and some Marinated Squid.
I picked up Voyager class TF Bludgeon at Walmart. This is a well made transformer. Transforms from Tank to Decepticon Samurai.

Saturday:
Woke up early to watch a couple hours of Saturday morning cartoons (G1 Transfomers 7am on Teletoon Retro), then went back to sleep til 2pm. Woke up and made food.
^ Beans, Steamed Pork and Shrimp Dumplings, and Jamacain Patty.
Watched the "Eco Food Challenge Special" on TV Japan (NHK). It's a show where 2 teams of Japanese celebrities compete in one-on-one cooking battles for a trophy. Its interesting to watch and I recognize most of the celebrities. The dessert cook from "Bambino!", Hossan, finished 2nd and cooked some neat stuff. I'm going to steal some of his ideas.
Sunday:
Vegged out at home and worked on some little projects. Went to Walmart found some "Zhu Zhu Pets" for sale. Supposedly this was the most wanted toy from this Christmas. I picked one up. It's basically a robot hamster that you can interact with.
Lunch today was more Pork and Shrimp Dumplings. The new trick I learn is to place a layer of lettuce on the tray before steaming. This will prevent the dumplings from sticking to the steamer tray.

Dinner was some Transformers Animated Eggo's.

Emi taught me the same lettuce leaf trick this weekend when we were steaming our own dim sum. Hard to find the good stuff, not the supermarket packaged ones. A friend brought over some awesome shiu mai and sticky rice, but the place he got it from is all the way over in Scarborough.
